Privacy notice

Last updated 7 October 2026

Bourn Capital Group Ltd is the controller of personal information collected through this website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 14807062. Our registered office is C/O Bulpitt Crocker Taxation Limited, Tayfield House, 38 Poole Road, Bournemouth, Dorset, BH4 9DW, United Kingdom.

You can contact us about privacy, or exercise your rights, using the enquiry form with “Privacy request” in your message, or by writing to our registered office marked “Privacy”. Postal contact remains available if you do not wish to use the online security check.

This notice covers the public website and initial enquiries. If an enquiry progresses to a lending transaction, we will provide any further privacy information needed for that process.

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, optional company name and the message you choose to send. We also receive information you provide in subsequent correspondence.

Our hosting and security providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as your IP address, browser information, requested pages, request times and security signals. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and connection signals when you start using the enquiry form to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.

Please keep your initial message brief and do not include sensitive personal information, identity documents, bank account details or information about other people unless necessary and you are entitled to share it.

We use enquiry information to understand your request, correspond with you and assess whether to progress a commercial discussion. We rely on our legitimate interests in handling business enquiries and conducting our commercial lending business. Where you personally request steps towards a contract with us, we may also rely on the need to take those steps at your request.

We use technical and security information for our legitimate interests in operating a reliable website, preventing spam and abuse, and protecting our systems and visitors. We may retain or disclose information where necessary to comply with a legal obligation.

Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing list. This website has no advertising or visitor analytics trackers.

Enquiries are delivered to BCG’s business inbox and handled by authorised BCG personnel. Our website uses OpenAI’s ChatGPT Sites hosting service, Cloudflare for website security, Turnstile and email sending, and Apple iCloud for receiving and storing business email. These providers process the information needed for their respective services.

Cloudflare also processes Turnstile security signals for its own purpose of improving bot detection, as explained in its Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Where necessary for a particular enquiry, we may share relevant information with professional advisers or disclose it to authorities when required by law. We do not sell enquiry information.

Our service providers operate internationally, including in the United States, so personal information may be processed outside the UK. OpenAI’s Sites Data Processing Addendum and Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum describe contractual safeguards for UK transfers, including standard contractual clauses with the UK Addendum. Apple describes its international transfer safeguards in its Privacy Policy.

You can contact us for information about the transfer arrangements relevant to your data and how to obtain a copy of the applicable safeguards.

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, assess and follow up the enquiry. If it develops into a commercial relationship, relevant records may be retained with that relationship’s records.

When deciding whether continued retention is necessary, we consider whether the enquiry remains active, any continuing business relationship, legal or regulatory record-keeping duties, and the need to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Information that is no longer needed should be deleted. Provider security and operational records follow the retention arrangements of the relevant service.

The website application does not create a separate enquiry database or deliberately log message contents. Submitted messages are retained in our business email system.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, erasure, restriction of processing or portability of information processed on the basis of consent or contract by automated means. These rights have legal limits and exceptions.

Your right to object: you may object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including handling enquiry information or website security data, on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will consider your request under the applicable data protection rules.

You can raise a concern with us using the contact methods above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, telephone 0303 123 1113, or Information Commissioner’s Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF.

You do not have to submit an enquiry. Name, email address and a message are needed for us to respond through this form; company name is optional. The security check is required to submit online. You may instead write to our registered office.

The website’s automated security check may block an online submission suspected of being automated. It does not make lending decisions. Submitting this form does not trigger a solely automated lending decision.

For cookies and similar technologies, see our Cookie policy. We will update this notice when the website’s handling of personal information changes.
